Part of Michael's Eagle Project

Completed west section of courtyard.

Behind the Scenes Tour of NMUSAF - Our Children

This was the staging area in the presidential jets before we started the tour. It was great and Gen Metcalf put on a class act as he always does.

Doolittle Raiders Exhibit

This will be a new exhibit at the National Museum of the United States Air Force. It contains the silver goblets of the Doolittle Raiders. The face down goblets represent the deceased so there are only 16 left alive. This is a real treasure and was part of our exclusive behind the scenes tour. There were 16 planes with crews of 5. Doolittle's goblet is in the top left position.

I took Bill Daniels to see "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled" with Gen Carlson giving 7 minutes of opening remarks. Bill has two things he saved from being a Marine and serving in Vietnam: dress uniform and this patch. He wanted me to have the patch and his daughter will get the uniform. This is the same unit my father served with as a Navy Corpsman when he deployed with the 1st Marine Division.

Two Pond Locations

Here are two possible pond locations. The one on the left would cover about 10 acres. I've drawn in the road as best I can tell from the overhead imagery and my memory of walking on our property.

3-D Topography Map

Contour map I built out of scrap cardboard backs to paper packs. This is a scale model of our 80 acres. The 3-D aspect makes it easier to understand the property and plan for the future.

Pond Watershed

Each one of the grids is about 9.4 acres so the total watershed feeding this 10 acre pond is about 200+ acres.
